Many of today's clothes are made of nondegradeable fibersÑespecially polyester, nylon and polyethylene. Multiply those fibers by all of the laundry you do, plus some grit, and you have a potentially clogged leachfield, a common problem across the United States—and an expensive one.

Enter the Septic Protector, which connects to your washing machine, where most of the trouble occurs. Features a 160-micron (and opt'l 30-micron) removable filter cartridge inside a transparent plastic case with a screw-off lid. The 30-micron will remove more than 99% of solids (lint, hair, pet fur, sand, clay, etc.) and will reduce oils and soap scum. Also great for sinks and bathtubs.
